July 20, 1939 -  June 14, 2022

Horacio Pacheco Amaral. Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, Portugal, he immigrated to Canada with his family in 1972.

It is with heavy hearts that the family shares the passing of Horacio on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 in Mississauga at the age of 82. Survived by his loving wife Maria (nee Madalena). Cherished father to Horacio Jr. and his wife Tracy, and Manuel Antonio. Dear brother to Silvestre and his wife Maria, Hortincio (predeceased) and his wife Madalina, Guilherme (predeceased) and his wife DioLinda (predeceased), Leonor Amaro and her husband Alberto, Belmira Paulinho and her husband Norman (predeceased), Maria Furtado (predeceased) and her husband Francisco (predeceased). Horacio will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all of his nieces and nephews, along with many other family and friends. He loved watching hockey and was an enthusiastic Leafs fan. He was also an avid gardener and took great pride in making his vegetable gardens bountiful and his flowers beautiful and full of colour.
