You are in my prayers and thoughts during this difficult time.
Gordon Hong Teng, my beloved brother in law had sadly passed away. He was a person of integrity, a scholar, a gentleman and a friend, whom you could always rely upon. A person with a kind heart and full of wisdom, Gordon will always be remembered in our hearts and mind. To Yuen Wah, Tony and Teresa, I hope you can overcome this difficult time soon. Life must go on. My deepest condolences to you all.
Gord was much beloved by his students, who always knew that they were getting the best possible instruction. He was a much respected colleague with a warm sense of humour. I am greatly saddened to know of his passing and extend all my condolences to his family, along with prayers that his memory shall always be a blessing to you/us all!
You are always in my mind.
In 1978, Gordon and I met at Concodia University in Montreal. We became very close friends since then.
Gordon: I write this in present tense because I wish to keep our memory alive!
With love, we enjoy our precious friendship together.
With respect, we cherish our wonderful time together.
We study, we play, we fish, we work, we goof, we sing , we travel, we snore and we... together.
Trust me, no one can this away from us.
My dear friend, rest in peace, for now, you just have to wait.
We will meet again someday!
