John knew Herb for sixty years and they kept in touch weekly. He was so happy this year buying his ebike and motorcycle. He was always discussing the latest technological gadgets he had read about or movies he had seen. Herb was overall a very nice man❤️.

Condolences to Herb's family. xxoo Herb was my neighbour across the street throughout my high school days at Georges Vanier Secondary School. He was the "behind the scenes guy" for all the school's musical productions. He threw the very, very best parties. Herb and two friends surprised me in Montreal for a visit the first year I was at McGill. What a surprise that was!! Just this year, I was asking a mutual friend what had every happened to Herb. Neither of us knew. We would never have thought of Elliot Lake. Herb you will remain in our hearts. I'm so glad our paths crossed. Rest in peace.

Hey Dave and Charlie,
I was so so so sorry to hear about Herb.
I have needless to say been thinking over the last few days of all our times. The Sat night hockey games, his great parties and how he dragged me kicking and screaming into the computer age !
I wish you both the best and will always miss Herb right along with you both.
Take care and say hi to Angela.
Love,
Wendy
