Peacefully on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Scarborough General Hospital at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Edel. Cherished father of Evy. Caring grandfather of Nicole (Jason Schill) and Jake Karns (Cecilia). Dear brother to Gunther and Ulla. Family and friends will be received at Pine Hills Cemetery & Funeral Centre (625 Birchmount Rd., north of St. Clair Ave. E., Scarborough, 416-267-8229) on Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 3-4 p.m. Service at 4 p.m. Memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
