In Loving Memory of Henry Hung Kui Mah:
Born on July 13th, 1949, and embraced by the arms of eternity on October 5th, 2023, Henry Mah, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, left us after a courageous battle with nasopharyngeal cancer. Henry's life was a testament to love, dedication, and unwavering support for his family.
Henry was the devoted husband and spouse of Winnie Mah for 47 years, and together, they built a life filled with love and shared dreams. Their union was blessed with three remarkable children: Norman, Simon, and Stella.
Norman, the eldest, and his loving wife, Katrina, blessed Henry with two beautiful grandchildren, Avery and Adley, who brought light and laughter into his life. Norman was not just a son but also a source of strength and support for his father, a reflection of the family's enduring bonds.
Simon, the middle child, enriched his father's life with unwavering companionship and support. Simon was always there for his dad, and they were there for each other through life's journey.
Stella, the youngest, and her husband, Robert Hallewick, gave Henry two more treasures, Atlas and Ariston, who filled his world with boundless happiness. Stella, like her siblings, held a special place in her father's heart.
Henry's career as a dedicated mailman with Canada Post spanned an impressive 33 years, a testament to his strong work ethic and commitment. In retirement, he discovered the simple pleasures in life, relishing dim sum with friends, enjoying leisurely days at the casino, and, most importantly, spending quality time with his children and grandchildren.
A father in the truest sense, Henry's love knew no bounds. He was a pillar of strength, always ready to offer support, guidance, and a listening ear. His children never felt a moment of want, for he ensured that their needs were met, their dreams nurtured, and their hearts filled with love.
Henry's legacy will forever endure in the hearts of those he touched. His selflessness, kindness, and devotion to family serve as a shining example to us all. Though cancer may have claimed his physical form, the manner of his passing was unexpected, a stark reminder of life's unpredictability.
In these moments of sorrow, we find solace in the memories of a remarkable man who truly lived for his family. Henry Mah's love will live on, an eternal flame that warms our hearts and lights our path. He was, and always will be, the best dad in the world.
As we say our goodbyes, let us remember Henry's enduring love for Winnie and the unique place each of his children held in his heart. May his memory be a source of strength and inspiration for us all.
