KAJU, Helme (nee SADUL) January 18, 1925 - December 8, 2018
Passed away peacefully at the age of 93 in Toronto. Born in Hiiumaa, Estonia, Helme was the second of four children born to Joonas and Amalie Sadul. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Eduard, sister Helju and brother Arne. Helme will forever be remembered as a loving, caring, gracious friend and relative. She was loving Mother to Lilian (Bob) and Peeter (Ellen), Grandmother to Krista (Erik), Anne (Paul), Alex and Krystal and Great Grandmother to Liia, Miles, Stella and Emerson. Helme's good nature, positive attitude and ongoing cheerfulness were beacons by which she lived her life. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of Helme's life will take place at York Funeral Centre, 160 Beecroft Rd., Toronto (north of Sheppard, west of Yonge St., 416-221-3404) on Monday, December 17, 2018, with visitation from 10 – 11 a.m. and Funeral Service at 11 a.m. followed by interment at York Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Ehatare Nursing Home and previously Ehatare Retirement Home for their kind and loving care of Helme during her time there.
