Harold Stephen St. George Jr. passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on
Wednesday, April 12th, 2023 at the age of 18. He was born on March 2nd, 2005 to parents
Linda Kong and Harold St. George Sr.
Over Harold’s 18 years of life, he fought to beat the odds that were set against him. He spent
almost every day with the most beautiful dimpled smile and ethereal energy. Although the
many diagnoses he faced were initially intimidating, he remained strong and brave
throughout the journey of his life, which to those who surrounded him was an immense
blessing. Harold proved to be the true definition of a Saint as his family name, St. George,
suggests.
Harold’s memory will live on through his parents, Linda Kong, Harold St. George Sr., and
Nilo Paramanathan, his siblings, Aaliyah St. George, Shantelle Kong, Prince Kong, and
Shanelle Kong, and his grandparents, Violet St. George, Collette Seaton, Leonard Kong, and
Charles St. George. His family extends great gratitude to Stewart Homes and SickKids
Hospital for the care they provided Harold.
Harold’s funeral and service will be at Simple Alternatives located at 1535 S Gateway Rd.
Mississauga, L4W 5G6 on Thursday April 20th, 2023. Visitation will be from 1-2 pm, and
the service will follow from 2-3 pm. A reception will be held at the Panemonte Banquet and
Convention Centre located at 220 Humberline Dr. Etobicoke, M9W 5Y4 from 4-6 pm.
Harold made a great impact on many lives. His laughter and light lit up entire rooms. His life
will never be forgotten and be held close to our hearts forever.
