Harilaos Petis

July 24, 1940 -  February 18, 2022

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family at the age of 81. Harilaos (Harry) leaves behind his devoted wife of 50 years, Elizabeth, and his two loving daughters, Haroula and Stephanie (Soti), along with his two adoring grandchildren, Georgie and Annelise. Predeceased by his parents, Nicholas and Hariklia and his brother Aristotelis. Harry immigrated to Canada in 1972 from his homeland in Anarahi, Greece. He will be greatly missed and dearly remembered as a loving husband, adoring father, and cherished grandfather. Harry was a very proud, hard-working family man who never took anything for granted; his infectious smile and welcoming manner will be fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched.

Family and friends will be received at Pine Hills Funeral Home, 625 Birchmount Rd, on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 between 4-8 pm. Due to COVID-19, room capacity is limited to maintain physical distancing requirements; the use of face coverings are mandatory while inside all facilities. A funeral service will be held at St. John’s Greek Orthodox Church, 1385 Warden on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at 10 am. Interment to follow at Pine Hills Cemetery, 625 Birchmount Rd.

He will always be remembered for his sense of humour and full-of-life disposition and that is why he will live forever in the beautiful memories he has given to his family and friends.
