Passed away on Saturday, January 12th in his 82nd year after a strong fight. He will be remembered by his wife Sylvia, his son Andrew (Pam) and his granddaughter Beth, who was the reason Gunter fought so hard. He will also be remembered by his step sons Mark (Linda), Fred and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation and Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 19th from 1 pm to 3 pm with a reception for family and friends from 3 pm to 5 pm at the Simple Alternative Funeral Centre, 275 Lesmill Road, Toronto, ON.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
