Gunars passed away unexpectedly on July 18, 2017 at home with family at his side. Born in Rucava, Latvia June 23, 1927 to the late Kristaps and Kersta Reinfelds. Devoted husband to the late Erika (nee Galvins), loving father of Modris “Sonny” (Maureen) and Aivars (Sally). Wonderful grandfather of Lisa (Greg) Padberg, Jonathan (Chikako), Stewart (Slavita), Krista (Worthy Pierce), Christopher and Emily. Adoring great-grandfather to Moira and Matthew Padberg, Kaede and Shuu Reinfelds. Predeceased by his brother Visvaldis.
