June 23, 1919 - December 22, 2017

Passed away peacefully at the Scarborough General Hospital on Friday, December 22, 2017 at the age of 98. Predeceased by her loving husband Henry Douglas, her brother Grant and her sisters Orma, Annie and Margery. Devoted mother to Sharon (Trevor White), Kim and Kelly. Caring grandmother to Krista (Craig), Jeff, Michael, Lindsay (Joe), Kyle and Courtney (Darryl). Proud great-grandmother to Jett, Sawyer, Ari and Vaida. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Sarah Moran, caregiver and friend.
Visitation at Pine Hills Cemetery & Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229) on Saturday, January 13, 2018 from 1:30 p.m. until time of service at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Del.

As i gaze upon the kind face of the woman who married my biological father, i can understand the evidence of the unbridled dedication of her children; who also just happen to be my sister Sharon, and brothers Kelly and Kim; Siblings that just happen to be kin that i have yet to meet. Hopen. Someday. As our parents pass into eternity, we are jolted into the realization, that our generation is next. Nothing to fear here, if we have cast all our care upon Christ, who cares for us.
