In memory of

Gregory Wayne Tobin

May 31, 1948 -  August 28, 2021

In loving memory of one of the very best.

A loving father, brother, cousin, uncle, friend and especially papa.
Greg will be forever missed by his children Angela (Nino) and Michael (Lauren), his granddaughters Emma, Lily and Madelyn (Maddy), his Ex-wife Anne Marie, sister Michelle (Dennis) and his many cousins and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, his sister Brenda and his son Stephen.

He was an avid fisherman and could talk for hours about the ones that he caught, the ones that got away and the many lures that are still stuck in trees on Rice Lake.

He loved being outdoors even if it was just to sit out in front of the house and talk to all the neighbors. He was known to many as “Mr. T” and was always there to help out whether it was car trouble, UBER services (TTC-Tobin Transit Commission back then) or mounds of worldly advice.

He had a heart of gold and a smile and laugh that was infectious. He always had a good story to tell or one of his infamous jokes for all he met. He was a great friend to many and always left a lasting impression.

Many people come into our lives but only a few leave with their footprints on our hearts. I am blessed to have had you in my life. Whether getting me my first job and "carpooling", although I didn't have a car and never returned the favor, to always being there (when my own mother passed), to making sure I shared in the cleaning punishment with Ang for breaking curfew. You were my "bonus" dad and I will always remember and cherish the conversations we had and the time we shared. I will deeply miss you. xoxo

Greg, you will be sadly missed. You always had a kind word or a sarcastic comment.
I will always remember riding in the van with you for the "Healing Cycle" and throwing water bottles to our riders.
Rest in peace and now you "Have Gone Fishing"
