Danny Grant

Danny Grant, 58, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 10 doing what he loved at one of his favourite places to be, Blue Mountain. He was an avid mountain biker and skier and could be found on the hills nearly every weekend in summer and winter.
Danny was born on Jan. 19, 1957, in Halifax to Richard and Ginger Grant as their third child, and second son. He moved with his family to Toronto at the age of 15 when his father retired from the navy. He went on to a 30-year career at William L. Rutherford Ltd., beginning as an accounting clerk and eventually moving up to vice-president of finance before switching to information technology and serving as the vice-president of IT.
Danny is survived by his wife of 36 years Anne, his parents Rick and Ginger, his brother Luke, sister Teresita and sister-in-law Liz, his children Alyson and Keith and his son-in-law Ben, as well as his father-in-law Roy Merry and brothers-in-law Scott (Anne) and Keith (Kenda) and many friends.
