It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather on December 13, 2017. Predeceased by his loving wife Dorothy. Loving father of Cathy(Shane) and Diane (Bruce). Cherished grandfather of Sarah (Brent), Leigh (Andrew), Kevin (Jenna), Holly (James). Julie (T.J.), Shawn (Andrea) and Virginia. Great-grandfather of Conor, Madelyn, Nolan, and Casey. Predeceased by his sister Irene and his brother Ron. Family and friends can be received at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre, 1057 Brock Road, Pickering on Thursday December 21, 2017 from 11:00 - 12:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Reception to follow. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made too The Sunnybrook Veterans Centre.

Dear Cathy, Diane & Families,
Gary, myself, David & Julie were very saddened to hear the news of Uncle Gord's passing.
I will always have many fond memories of my Mom's brother & my special Uncle!
And, I am so thankful that Gary & I were able to have such a nice catch-up visit with him in November.
Thinking of you ALL, at this sad time in your lives.
