November 20, 1936 - July 19, 2024

Passed away in his 87th year, ever so peacefully after a lengthy illness, on Friday, July 19, 2024 surrounded by family.

Predeceased by his loving wife Ethel, daughter Pam and son Don.

Grandfather to Kim McGuire, Don Hogarth (Lorri), Ryan Stock (Kerrie) and Paul Stock.

Great Grandfather to Christopher (Jamie), Jessica, Taylor (Amanda), Karley (Antony), Nathan and Nolan.

Great Great Grandfather to Isabella, Tevonte, Justine, CJ, Makenna, Hannah and Wesley.

Gord will be missed dearly by his special friend Joyce Riddell.

Gord will be remembered as a gentle and kind man with a wonderful sense of humour. If you had the privilege to meet Gord, you knew right away how genuine and wise he was. Simply the best Pops, husband, partner and friend to all.

Gord was an avid golfer and dedicated baseball fan. He loved his yearly trips to Florida and enjoyed the sun and fun with so many friends.

Gord received many awards of achievement related to his career as an electrician to which he was a dedicated employee. He knew how to enjoy his retirement and lived a wonderful life filled with friends and family.

Our hearts are broken but thankful to have been loved by such a wonderful man.

Gordon was a special person. For many years when he spent the winter months in Sarasota I had the pleasure of finding him a rental property that he enjoyed staying at. I will miss working with him. God Bless. Shirley

Winters will not be the same without Gordon and Joyce here. Everyone that knew them here loved them. We have such wonderful memories . My condolences to his family. He was such a joy to know.

This is sad news. Gordon was a great guy and I always looked forward to meeting with him and sharing stories. He rented a condo that I managed for a few months and I always enjoyed talking with him and sharing banter. Rest in peace my friend.
