Sorry for your loss. Carol Cox sends Robin and the extended family, condolences and their love.
I'll always remember him teaching me to play chess and the 1,2,3 boom! When we'd count out the moves for the pieces to move, he had the strongest hugs, the best mini golf course in his back yard and a great love for his family.
I met Mr. Sprague in recent years through his son Rob. Mr. Sprague was always a fine gentleman, an interesting conversationalist with a long sense of business history. Rob, I'm sorry for your loss, but you had his love and guidance for a long time. For this we must be thankful. Thinking of you and your family in this time of sorrow and celebration. May you be comforted by your family, friends, faith and fond memories and life lessons he taught.
I have many fond memories of Grandpa Glen from every stage of my life. From childhood to my turbulent teenage years, to now as a father. Grandpa Glen would always have wise advice that would really put life into perspective and would help guide me in the right direction. I will forever appreciate Grandpa Glen for introducing me to skiing. I remember his swooping turns as he graced the mountain with his arms spread wide like a bird. We would both laugh recalling how shocked he was when we had a surprise meeting my first time at the top of Mount Mansfield when I was with my ski instructor as child. I share the same view with Grandpa Glen; that skiing is a gift to be shared with family as this has taken me to many of the most beautiful places in the world. I, as many, when at the top of a mountain take a moment prior to a run to enjoy the view and appreciate life for what it is. I will always take that moment to thank and think of Grandpa Glen for the gift he has given me.
Sincerest condolences to the family, , thanks for all the memories of being neighbours on Wayne Ave, Mr Sprague will be missed by all who knew him:(, RIP🙏❤️
