Gladys Mary Peppiatt

October 2, 1931 -  July 1, 2024

Gladys was called home peacefully to be with her Lord and Saviour at the age of 92 on Monday, July 1, 2024, at Lakeridge Heights, Retirement Residence in Whitby. Although now absent from the body, we know that Gladys is present with the Lord. Pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Norman Peppiatt, and her daughter Karen. Gladys is survived by her children Deborah Harris (Peter), David Peppiatt (Ellen) and Paul Peppiatt (Angela). Also survived by her grandchildren Sarah (Ramy), Rachel (Seth), Hannah, Benjamin, Emma (Nate), Joshua (fiancé Mikayla) and Heather. And great grandchildren Olivia, Everly, Brielle, Elizabeth and William. Also survived by her brother Ted Clarke (the late Irma), her sister-in-law Ellen Prior (the late Clare) & her cousin Gloria Conroy (the late John). Special thanks to staff of Lakeridge Heights Residence, St. Elizabeth nursing and VHA Home Healthcare Durham.

Donations in memory of Gladys may be made to Calvary Baptist Church Oshawa or the Canadian Diabetes Association.

Gladys and Norm made me feel so welcome in their home when I lived in Oshawa! Always so kind and thoughtful.
Debbie and Pete are great examples of loving on their parents and caring for them in their older years. Gladys' faith was evident in her life and such a testimony to her family.
