Giuseppe Salvatore “Nonno” Scire is finally at peace and has joined his loving wife Sebastiana. He passed away peacefully on April 17, 2021 with his daughter at his side. Born in Pachino, Sicily on November 18, 1944, he emigrated to Canada with his wife in 1960’s. Like many, he worked hard to create a better life for his family. In his final years, his health slowed down his body, but not his mind. He was lovingly cared for by his daughter J. Grazeilla, her husband Maroun and his grandchildren Dylan and Joey in their family home. He is also survived by his son A. Elia, his wife Patricia, and his grandsons Andrew and Alexander. The memories must focus on the happier and healthier times, the wine that was made and drank, the meals consumed, the countless renovations, the search for the yellow drill, the collection of pocketknives and most importantly the love he had for his family. He will live on in our memories through the stories we share, the wine that we drink and the tools that we use, forever in our hearts.
