Beyond his professional achievements, he stepped into a leadership role after his father's passing, taking on the responsibility of helping his mother care for their family.

He is survived by his two amazing children, Sherlock and Sally, as well as his daughter-in-law Gesha and son-in-law Roy. He migrated to Mississauga, Canada, to reunite with his family in March 1997. His family will deeply miss sitting down with him at dinner and hearing all of his old-time stories. His remarkable memory was a cherished resource, as he was always the one they turned to when they couldn't remember something. He was known for his meticulous nature, ensuring that everything was tidy and not a pin was out of place.
He was a man of great neatness and honesty. His love, patience, understanding, wisdom, and remarkable sense of pride will continue to live on in the hearts of his family forever. He will be missed and loved by many.
