In memory of

Gerdie Koetsier

July 23, 1941 -  January 4, 2018

"Always Giving, Always On-the-Go"

Gerdie lived a life full of adventure. She died suddenly, with Henry by her side. Her kindness and generosity will be sorely missed by friends and loved ones. We will all continue to be cozy because of her constant handiwork.

Alida Freda (her younger sister)

No words can describe the emptiness I feel to loose my sister so suddenly and so unexpected. My heart cries out for Henry to carry on without his "Life-Saver" and for Kirsten for her additional task in life, while taking care of her adorable toddlers. Gerdie never failed in her family obligations and her strength is a sample for all of us.
She supported Henry through the challenging Parkinson operation, following every step necessary for the successful outcome he is now enjoying. Bless her soul! I still cannot believe loosing my last sibling, but acceptance will come in time. Regret not to make it to the Memorial, but it gives me peace of mind that Kirsten carries her Mom's genes and strength to comfort everyone. My deepest sympathy for all her friends, who she touched with her kindness. Love, Sister Alida
