In memory of

Georgia Mangos

February 21, 1956 -  September 26, 2025

Georgia “Gina” Mangos, a woman whose love and light touched countless lives, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Lazo for 52 beautiful years, devoted mother to Peter, Donny (Catherine), and Vasa, cherished grandmother to Zoe, Lucas, Mia, and Cece and dog grandmother to Kuche and Bruno.

Gina was the closest thing to a saint on earth—a rare soul whose selflessness knew no bounds. Her beautiful smile could brighten the darkest day, and her capacity to love was limitless. She had an extraordinary gift for making everyone she met feel valued and heard, always ready to listen without judgment, to comfort without condition.

Music filled her life and brought her joy, but it was her love for people that truly defined her. Gina had a remarkable ability to make everyone’s life better simply by being in it. Her warmth, her kindness, and her unwavering presence created a sanctuary for her family and friends.

She leaves behind a void that can never be filled, but also a legacy of love that will endure in the hearts of all who knew her. Gina was, and will always remain, the love of our lives.

Her memory will be a blessing to all who were fortunate enough to know her.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Gina’s memory by showing kindness to someone who needs it—just as she would have done.
