We met George many years ago when our families all had trailers at Crowe Lake. We had so much fun together; the camp fires and oh yes, the "happy hours." We'll always cherish the memories of the happiness and closeness of our friendship. We're sure going to miss you!! The heavens have gotten another angel. Rest in Peace. Luv U.

Deepest condolences to Mrs. Barnes, Lori, Jacob & Kai. Remembering the smiles and gentle twinkle of his eye, the comfort of Mrs. B's & the family's devotion and care in the last few years that surrounded him in a circle of love & support. So glad for the memories I can look back on of fun visits at the family home in the Kawarthas. Just wish there was more time! Rest in Peace Mr. B!
We are very sad about George's passing. George and his wife Sharon have been friends of ours for about 30 years. We have many wonderful memories of times we spent together. I remember quite a few years ago when Sharon and I met. We were both involved with AVON. Sharon and I would go out and when we returned George would have snacks prepared for us.
George was a very kind, quiet, thoughtful man. I remember that he worked hard
with Sharon and the physio people when he had a stroke several years ago.
We will miss George very much, he was a special friend.

With George goes gentility and kindness. He will be sorely missed.

Rest in peace sweet man. Never met a more kinder and gentler soul.
Fondly remember our 1st meeting on Sharon's "40th" birthday party up at Glen Allen, although Bill had known George well before that when George was driving for Howden and Bill for Ultramar. We enjoyed a wonderful friendship ever since then with many times spent in Lindsay with Herb and Skip and with reciprocal dinners spent at both our house and and the "numerous" residences the Barnes occupied over the years! Always told you that you owed me a new address book!
We are so sorry that we weren't able to be there for George's final send off today, but please know that our thoughts and payers are with you all.
Lots of Love,
Bill & Vicki
