George died unexpectedly but peacefully at Toronto General Hospital on August 11, 2014. He was sixty-five years old. He is survived by his cherished wife and best friend, Pamela Yukich and their three beloved children, Kelley, Megan and Jeff Yukich. Much admired father-in-law to Martin Stapleton, Mate Renic and Crystal Yukich. Adored Gigi to Ella George, Oscar &amp; Harry Stapleton, Owen, Max &amp; Sophie Rose Renic and Colton, Axel G. &amp; Luka G. Yukich. Loving son of the late Joseph and Florence Yukich and devoted son-in-law of Hilda Bellerose and the late Ralph Bellerose. Much loved brother to Robert, Anne, Joseph, Michael, Mark and the late Kenneth Yukich. Brother-in-law and friend to Randy and Bruce Bellerose. Teacher to thousands of students in the Sault area and ally of the Thessalon First Nation. George connected with people from all walks of life. This gift made his journey meaningful to him, inspiring to his family and memorable for all those he touched. He lived happily, purposefully and generously. He was a true gentleman, an example to us all. A private service will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Toronto (www.mountpleasantgroup.com).
