The late George Kitsos passed away January 14, 2022. The son of Traianos and Panajota Kitsos. He was the husband of Evelyn Kitsos for 60 years. Father of Lana and Jimmy. And the grandfather of Ciara, Marco, and Jesse. His siblings were Polixeni, Chris, and Mary.
George was born on August 8, 1937 in the beautiful village of Bouf, Macedonia. He immigrated to Canada with his family. He lived in Windsor, Ontario and later moved to Toronto. Soon after he started working in the restaurant business. Over the years he was both owner and co-owner of restaurants including Summerfield’s Bar & Grill up until 2006. Dear Dedo, you were my best friend for life. You taught me what it meant to be kind to others and to never take life too seriously. Your hardworking traits also inspired me to keep moving and never quit. I will always remember all the times you helped me, drove me to school everyday and gave me money for the bus. I truly value our time together and I do believe you are in a better place now. We love, you, God loves you, and now you are home. Bog da go prosti. May God forgive. Love you always —Ciara
