In memory of

George James “Jim” Horner

June 26, 1939 - July 14, 2025

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Jim, who passed away peacefully at his home on Monday July 14, 2025.

Jim will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Marie, and his daughter Terry-Lynn (Ron). Proud grandfather of Justin (Patience), Kyle, and the late Leanne. Cherished brother of Pearl (predeceased by Roy David), and his late brother Fred (Elsie).

He will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews: Wendy, (predeceased son Toryn), Wanda, Richard (Karen), Rhonda (Steve), and Cindy (Mark). Jim will also be greatly missed by his extended family, Michael, Davis, Emily (Garrett), Luca, Jacob, and his special lifelong friends Tony and Geri.

Jim was born in Kinistino Saskatchewan and raised in both Drumheller Alberta and Calgary Alberta. Jim later moved East where he met the love of his life, Marie. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jim can be made to the Canadian Lung Association.
