Gary Wyonch

November 14, 1947 -  October 17, 2018

Our family is heartbroken to announce the passing of our brother Gary John Malcolm Wyonch, in the early morning hours of October 17, 2018.
Gary was born in Toronto on November 14, 1947. Son of late Milton (2002) and Ruby (Kilhooley) Wyonch (1969). He was the eldest of 8 children.
Leaving behind are his siblings; Elizabeth Wyonch, Sandy (Paul) Gauthier, John (Kathy) Wyonch, Jeff (Nancy) Wyonch, Kimberley (Mike) Corriveau and Kelly (Danny) Barker and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Linda Parsons (2004).
He was a generous man with a big heart for all animals – An amazing drummer & lover of music.
A Celebration Of life to take place November 14, 2018 11:00 to 2:00 at Pine Hills Cemetery.
We would like to thank the staff of Bridgepoint Health Centre for their Care & compassion.

Gary, where ever you may be in heaven, I miss you bro. We've been through a lot together, I wouldn't trade the great times for anything. Work hard playing music at night, and partying all night after that, every night 'till dawn. There were no bands like ours, the craziest bunch of people put together by God, to share music and great times. You were a very special drummer, the funkiest ever, never got the credit in this crazy, stupid music world, cause we all know, it's based on publicity, not talent. But those of us who shared your time, and played the music with you, know, you were a hell of a drummer, the best, that's what counts. One Funky Fever, Fellowship to remember you by, it's on youtube for ever.
See you in the other world one day, bye for now bro.

I am deeply saddened to hear that Gary has left us. My heart goes out to the family. Gary will be greatly missed but we will always remember his kindest and love. May he rest in peace.
