November 4, 1958 - June 6, 2017

Passed away after a courageous fight with cancer on June 6, 2017 in his 59th year. Beloved husband of Laura. Loving father of Scott. Dear brother of Wayne and Gord. He will also be missed by his parents Harvey and Marion. Gary was a longtime enthusiast of Mopar and Tim Hortons. Friends and family will be received at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre, 275 Lesmill Rd., Toronto on Saturday, June 17th from 10:30-11: 30 a.m. with funeral service at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Sunnybrook Hospital Gord Downie Fund for Brain Cancer Research would be appreciated.
