Mrs. Yam Chan Fung Yee, of Toronto, Ontario, passed away peacefully at Rouge Valley Ajax Hospital on September 14th, 2016. She was 92 years old, born on February 3rd, 1924 and as a career teacher raising three children through challenging times, was a lady of courage, perseverance, smarts, wisdom and resilience.

She was predeceased by her husband, Mr. Yam Yat Shing.

She is survived by her half-sisters Chan Fung Chun & Chan Fung Ping, daughters May & Edith, son Andrew, sons-in-law Sydney & Anthony, and daughter-in-law Pi-Chen. She is also survived by grand-daughters Grace, Ophelia, & Florence, as well as grand-sons-in-law Felix & Michael and great-grand-daughter Estelle.

Public visitation will occur on September 23, 6-9PM and September 24, 9-10AM.
Funeral will occur on September 24, 10AM at York Visitation Center, 160 Beecroft Road, Toronto, Ontario and interrment will occur at York Cemetery.
