It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Frederick “John” Wells. Born April 20, 1942. Passed away on September 29, 2023, in his 81st year. Survived by his dedicated long time loving companion of 9 years, Beverly Rozell.

Also, survived by his 3 remaining children Phyllis (Paul), Allan (Cheryl), and William (Katy). His Grandchildren, Angie, David, Daniel (Laure), Mark, John, and Joshua. Also, his Great Grandchildren Anthony, Makalia, Brianna, Austin, Carson, Olyver and Arlo.

Also survived by his remaining Siblings, Jeannie (Jim McHardy,) Tim Crandall, Ruth (Miller) Hodgins, Maureen Lambert, June (Rick) Buckner and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by wife Margaret, Daughter Carolyn, and Sister Mary Allen.

John was a Lifetime member of the Loyal Order of Moose.

Visitation will take place at Pine Hills Funeral Centre and Cemetery, 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough, Ontario M1K 1R1, 416-267-8229, on Wednesday, October 4th from 2:00 pm-4:00 pm and 6:00 pm-9:00 pm in the Chapel with a ceremonial Moose service at 7:00 pm, and all are welcome to attend.

It is with a heavy heart and sadness that I have to say goodbye to Johnny. I will truly miss him stopping in and saying hello. It is so sad that he, his car and licence plate the Grey Ghost will never be in my driveway again. Or I will not get to visit or bump into him while in Toronto. Goodbye my friend....
