In memory of

Fred Pesarchuk

March 30, 1928 -  January 16, 2018

The family of Fred Pesarchuk of Oshawa, Ontario, announces the passing of their dear father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend on January 16, 2018.

Fred was the husband of the much-missed Olivia and Dad to Bob Pesarchuk and Lynda and David Harries. He was the proud Dido of Jenn and Darren Dressler and Eric and Ren Pesarchuk and G-Dido to Lucas, Owen, Calla, Ellie and Brooks.

He was a good friend, neighbour, and colleague to many through his years with the Shevchenko Male Chorus in Toronto, at General Motors, on the golf course, and in his community. He never forgot a birthday or anniversary and loved to laugh and raise a glass with his friends!

The family appreciates the long friendship of Josie and the kindness of neighbours Elaine and Kevin. They are grateful for 17 years of care from Dr. Isabelle Dion. They appreciate the staff and caregivers at Bayshore Healthcare who supported him and made him comfortable and safe during the last few months.

There will be a celebration of Fred's life on January 27, 2018, at
Thornton Cemetery and Funeral Centre, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, Ontario (905-579-6787). Please enter off Dryden Blvd.

In lieu of flowers, any donations in honour of Fred can be made to Lakeridge Health Palliative Care.
