In Loving Memory of Franklin “Ted” Pierce

With hearts full of gratitude for a life well-lived, we remember Franklin “Ted” Pierce — husband to Shirley Pierce (Lapierre), proud father of Cynthia and Kimberley, beloved grandfather to Brittani, Ashton, Thorianna, and Johnny, and cherished great-grandfather to Crawford, Aubrey, Gibson, and Arlo.

Ted passed away in Scarborough at the remarkable age of 92 and lived life on his terms.

Whether he was casting a line in Peterborough , sharing a cold one at the Legion, or simply enjoying the company of friends and family, Ted brought warmth, humour, and a steady kindness that never went unnoticed.

His presence was grand and a gift. His love for his family and community ran deep, and his legacy will echo in every memory we have.

We invite you to join us in celebrating Ted’s life:
Visitation will take place:
• Wednesday, June 11th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm
• Thursday, June 12th from 9:00am to 10:00am

Following the visitation, Ted’s burial will take place at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 2700 Kingston Road, Scarborough, on Thursday, June 12th, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.

A Maple Leaf Service will follow on Thursday June 12th 2025, 12:00 noon at Scarborough Legion 614, 100 Salome Dr, Scarborough.
Stick around afterward for refreshments, food, and stories — and a “snort” for all

Catch you later……… Gone Fishing.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 614 would be greatly appreciated.
