With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Frank Filippelli, who left us peacefully on February 6, 2025, at Saint Joseph’s Health Centre in Toronto. He was 62 years old.

Frank was the beloved husband of Rita, his partner and best friend through life’s journey. Their love and commitment to one another were evident in the countless memories they created together. As a devoted father to Nicole, Filomena (Carlos) and their dog Gizmo, Frank’s greatest joy was watching his daughters grow, always offering them love, support, and encouragement. He was immensely proud of them and the lives they built.

One of the brightest lights in Frank’s life was his granddaughter, Gabriela. She brought him endless happiness, and their bond was one of pure love and joy. Whether it was through shared laughter, stories, or simple moments together, Gabriela held a special place in his heart.

Frank is also survived by his loving sisters, Giuseppina and Alba (Frank), who shared in his life’s journey and built a lifetime of cherished memories together. His presence will be deeply missed by his many nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in his heart.

Frank enjoyed the simple things in life—being surrounded by family, sharing stories, and spending time with the people he cared about. He had a way of making those around him feel at home, and his absence will be deeply felt.

Though he is no longer with us, Frank’s spirit lives on in the love he shared, the memories he created, and the family and friends who will forever carry him in their hearts. He will be deeply missed, always remembered, and forever loved.
