Francis Sylvester Glasgow 76, of Richmond Hill, ON passed away on April 8th 2024.
Francis was born on November 26th 1947, to parents Edgar and Rosa Glasgow in St. Vincent & The Grenadines.
An accomplished trumpeter, Francis performed all over Canada and internationally including the world-renowned Toronto and Montreal Jazz Festivals and Caribana, but his true love was for ushering people into the presence of God through worship. For many years he faithfully served on various praise and worship teams as well as special church events and conferences including sharing the stage with Dove & Grammy-award winning fellow trumpeter Phil Driscoll.
Even after graduating as a music major from Humber College, he never stopped growing and was an avid reader and learner.
Francis at 18 years old met the love of his life Anita his best friend and apple of his eye. Both born in St. Vincent. Francis and Anita married in Toronto Canada and were married for a remarkable 52 years! Together they built a beautiful life and went on to have two sons, Kemtal of Dallas, Texas and Videl of Richmond Hill, Ontario
Francis was predeceased by parents Edgar & Rosa Glasgow, Veronica (sister), Felix (brother in law), Rudy Glasgow (brother). He is survived by Anita Glasgow (wife), Kemtal & Marla Joy Glasgow (son & daughter in-law), Videl & Sarah Glasgow (son & daughter in-law), Merlene & Claude Lee (sister & brother in-law), Aggie & Clint Stevens (sister & brother in-law), Michele Davidson & Lionel Nicolas-Etiene (favorite niece & in-law), Sharon Glasgow (sister in law) Grandchildren: Emmett, Zoey & Hilary Glasgow, Caleb, Mekhi, Isaiah & Ameya Glasgow. Nieces & Nephews: Audrey, Natalie, Andrew, Dexter, Shurland, Matthew, Alicia, Esther, Cassandra, Samantha as well as many great nieces and nephews.
Celebration of life services will be held at:
Elgin Mills Cemetery on Wednesday May 1st at 11:00 am.

Meeting Francis was a joy because he was so humble and had a very infectious smile and laughter . He will be missed but is asleep awaiting the resurrection morning.
May the Lord comfort the family members as they mourn his loss.
