It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Fong Wong (nee Lor), who left us peacefully, at the age of 97, on June 12, 2025.

Born in the village of Qiaotou, which is a part of the town of Shatangzhen in the present-day city of Kaiping (Hoiping) in Guangdong province, China, she emigrated with her son, Ming, to Toronto, Canada to reunite with her husband, King, in Jan. 1960.

After raising 2 sons, Fong's bountiful vegetable gardens became her pride & joy. She loved spending time exploring greenspaces like the downtown U of T campus, Queen's Park, High Park & Sunnybrook Park. In her later years, she would enjoy going out for weekly dim sim with family & people watching.

Fong is survived by her 2 sons, Ming (Pauline) & Michael (Freda). She is also survived by her grandchildren, May (Shawn); Mark (Pong); Christine (Ashton) & 2 great-grandchildren, Narelle & Camélia. She will be missed by her younger brother & sister in Canada, and extended family in both Canada & overseas.

She is predeceased by her husband, King.

Our family is grateful to the staff at McKenzie Health Centre - Richmond Hill; Mon Sheong Richmond Hill Long Term Care & UHN's EW Bickle Centre for Complex Continuing Care for their amazing multi-disciplinary care & support given to Fong during the last year of her life.

謹以沉痛哀悼之情，公告 黃勞銀仙安詳辭世，享年九十七歲，於二〇二五年六月十二日與世長辭。
黃勞銀仙女士生於中國廣東省開平市沙塘鎮轎頭村。於一九六〇年一月，偕長子 Ming 移民加拿大多倫多市，與夫婿 黄樹景團聚，舉家定居。

黃勞銀仙女士一生勤儉持家，養育二子成人，操持家園、辛勤耕耘，菜園碩果纍纍，視為至樂。平日酷愛親近大自然，尤喜漫遊多倫多大學校園、市中心皇后公園、高地公園及 Sunnybrook 公園等地，樂在其中。晚年常與家人歡聚，閒話家常，週末外出品嚐點心，觀人觀景，怡然自得。
黃勞銀仙女士育有二子：Ming（Pauline）與 Michael（Freda）；孫輩 May（Shawn）、Mark（Pong）、Christine（Ashton）；曾孫女 Narelle 與 Camélia。她在加拿大的弟妹及在加拿大及海外的眾多親屬，將永遠懷念她。

黃勞銀仙的丈夫 黄樹景先她而去。
