Fern Margaret Sadler

Fern Margaret Sadler, passed peacefully in her sleep November 1st. She will be greatly missed by her large extended family, the Anderson’s, Sadler’s and Nash’s.

A celebration of life will be held at the Balmy Beach Canoe Club Saturday November 10th at 1pm. We hope you can join us in remembering Ferns incredible sense of humour, incredible artistic ability and wonderful 83 years as a mother, sister and friend to many. Ferns high spirits and quick wit lit up every room she entered.

Though the final years of her life were a struggle, but in times of darkness we still saw old Ferny Farkle’s charm shine through. Fern was extremely talented and shared her artistic ability with many. If you have any of her folk art, paintings or cross stitches and would not mind having them on display during the celebration please feel free to bring them or scanned images of them.

We would also welcome old photographs from all stages of her life if you are willing to share.
