Fendi Tantono

July 30, 1952 -  October 27, 2025

Our Dearest Dad and Forever will be in Our Hearts.

Fendi Tantono, a devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandfather, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025, in Richmond Hill, Ontario. He was 73.

Born in Curup, Sumatra Island, Indonesia, Fendi lived a full and vibrant life marked by kindness, wisdom, and unwavering dedication to his family. He built a beautiful life alongside his beloved wife, Jusri, and together they raised three children—Ferryanto, Febiyanto, and Felanna—who were the pride of his heart. Fendi’s joy multiplied with the arrival of his grandchildren, Miko, Scott & Fenris with whom he shared countless cherished memories.

He was also blessed with three wonderful in-laws—Fiona, Yenny, and Aaron —who became cherished members of the family and shared in the love and laughter that defined Fendi’s home.

A brave soul, Fendi faced life’s challenges with remarkable strength and grace. He courageously battled cancer for 14 years, inspiring those around him with his resilience and unwavering spirit.

Known for his gentle nature and quiet strength, Fendi touched the lives of many with his generosity and warmth. His legacy lives on in the love he gave, the stories he told, and the values he instilled in those closest to him.

As per the wishes of his wife, a private funeral service will be held. The family invites friends and loved ones to share their condolences and memories in the online Guest Book, where every message is deeply appreciated.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to IREC Trinity (Indonesian Reformed Evangelical Church Trinity), in honor of Fendi’s enduring faith and commitment to GOD.

Though it is sad and hard to bid farewell, it is always encouraging to know such earthly farewell will be compensated by the reunion of all our loved ones in the heavenly realm where we will enjoy the rest of eternity together. The Bible says:

"3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” (Revelation 21:3-4)

Our prayers and condolences are with the Tantono family
