Hi Mabes!!

Its hard to believe I won't be able to swing by and see ya for a cuppa tea and a bitta jam bread! You are the most hilarious, kind, sweet and generous woman I have ever known and I thank you for all of the opportunities your efforts as a mother, sister, friend, grandmother, etc.. have afforded me. I am lucky enough to have had my Grandmother by my side throughout childhood, adolescence and early adulthood. You have helped shape me into the woman I am today. I will miss eating a plate of chips at the Zellers restaurant at Shopper's world, and even the long walk home, lugging all our shopping bags home in the blistering heat, itching to get home for a fashion show. I will miss you asking whether I'm married yet, or if he bought me a house. I'll be sure to let you know when that happens so we can celebrate like old times.

None of us will ever forget those days spent gossiping around the kitchen table at 87 Harris with Mabes the Main Street Matriarch!

With all my love,
xoxo Jessie
