PEDIS, Evangelos
February 11th, 1934 – October 31, 2017

After many years suffering from dementia, on October 31st, 2017, Evangelos passed away at the age of 83. Fondly remembered as a hard working and dedicated Husband to Afroditi and Father to Agapi Mary and Louis.

Loving and very proud Papou to his 6 grandchildren Julian, Evan, Luke, Shad, Saige, and Leah
Brother to the late Elpida (Lazaros), late Stamati ( late Chrisoula), Fiona (Petros), late Petros (Evdoksia), Andrea (Elleni), and Freda (Chris).

He loved playing sports and in later years enjoyed going to the boys hockey and soccer games
Always the avid outdoorsman, he especially enjoyed hunting, loved music and enjoyed dancing and gardening with Afroditi. A special thanks to everyone at Fieldstone Commons for their kind and gentle care. He will be sadly missed by everyone who's lives he has touched.

Friends may call at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229) on Thursday, November 2nd, 2017 from 5-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. John’s Greek Orthodox Church, 1385 Warden Ave, Scarborough, on Friday, November 3rd, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Pine Hills Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Society.
