Evangelene "Lisa" Grisolia

September 29, 1964 - March 8, 2018

After a short courageous battle, Lisa passed away peacefully in Pickering on Thursday March 8, 2018 with her family by her side. Lisa will be forever missed by her devoted husband Sergio. Proud mother to daughters Ariana and Stephanie. Caring daughter to Gus and Emily and in-laws Gina (the late Francesco). Loving sister to Pat (Ryan) and Kiki (John) and brother and sister in-law Ed & Franca. Adored by her nieces and nephews Melissa (Joseph), Laura, Rylee, Isabella and Marco along with other extended family and friends.

Born in Toronto, Lisa joined the ranks of Toronto’s Finest (TPS) at a very young age and in 2015 attained the level of Detective. Her greatest joys were time spent traveling to Greece and with family and friends around the BBQ. Family and friends will be received at the Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre (625 Birchmount Rd., north of St. Clair Ave. E, Scarborough, ON 416-267-8229) on Sunday March 11, 2018 from 2 - 4p.m. and again at 6 – 9p.m. A funeral will be held in the Pine Hills Chapel on Monday March 12, 2018 at 11:00a.m., with interment to follow immediately thereafter. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated.

We met within weeks of moving to Pickering 23 years ago and we have been friends ever since. Going to be missed and fondly remembered always. Your easy smile and sudden hearty bursts of laughter will be missed as well. Great friend and always there to lend a hand. Rest in peace Lisa.....no longer suffering.
