In memory of

Eugenie Anassis

November 25, 1943 -  September 14, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved mother, Eugenie Anassis. She passed away on September 14, 2025, surrounded by the warmth of a loving family, after a valiant battle with cancer.

Eugenie's passion and strength was rooted in the unwavering love she had fer her family, as well as her Greek Orthodox faith.

Born on November 25, 1943, in Athens, Greece. Eugenie is survived by her husband, Spyridon Anassis. Together they had three children, Emmanual, William, and Aimilia, and three grandchildren, Olivia, Chloe, and Evan, whom she cherished wholeheartedly.

As a Supervisor at Pearson Airport, for over 30 years, Eugenie's radiant smile and dedication to her work gave her a sense of pride.

To know Eugenie was to witness her Selflessness. She gave of herself freely to her family and friends. Eugenie delighted family and guests with her welcoming and generous nature. Eugenie had an eye for beauty and a flare for decorating. Holidays and celebrations were always filled with beautiful table decor and mouthwatering aromas of greek cuisine.

Let us honor Eugenie's memory by embracing her courage in the face of adversity, her unyielding strength, and the boundless love she had for her loved ones.

My mother would of wanted to thank her daughter - in - law, Brenda Anassis, for the compassion and care she gave during her illness. Also, many thanks to the Reid family for making it possible to carry out my mother's last wishes in spending her final months, in my home, with her family.

God grant us the SERENITY, to accept the things we cannot change. COURAGE to change the things we can, and the WISDOM to know the difference.

I knew Eugenie through her son Bill. I have fond memories of her greeting me with so much warmth and kindness everytime I would go over to hang out with Bill. She was so kind and loving. My deepest condolences to Bill, Emily and the family. May she rest in peace and may her memory be eternal.
