Eugenia (Jenny) Harvey (1927-2019)

Passed away peacefully in her 92nd year, at Brampton Civic Hospital on the morning of April 4th, surrounded by family. Predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Billy (2004). Survived by her daughter Deborah (Bob Dickson, 2016), beloved Baba to Jennifer (David), Jeffrey (Rowan), Christopher (Francesca), Tracy (Geoff) and Little Baba to Massimo, Madalyn, Carter, Angelina and Aricka. Predeceased by siblings Rachel, Helen, William, Anne and Steve. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Jenny was born and raised in Montreal PQ. She began her career in accounting at Dominion Bridge in Lachine, and then with Pratt & Whitney until she retired in 1981. Moving to Brampton, she worked for the Brampton Times and Baba’s Kitchen making perogies and cabbage rolls for all to enjoy. She will be missed by many friends from Peel Manor Long Term Care where she lived for the past 3 years. The nurses and caregivers in the Broddyway Wing were truly amazing in the care they provided for such a vibrant woman. She will be deeply missed by everyone there. A graveside service will be held at Meadowvale Cemetery (7732 Mavis Rd, Brampton) at 1pm on Friday April 12th with a Celebration of Life following the service. She will be missed by all who her life touched!In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
