Ethel Marilyn Babbs

February 11, 1941 - May 16, 2016

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marilyn Babbs on Monday, May 16, 2016 at Sunnybrook Hospital at the age of 75. Survived by her husband David, her daughters Jennifer and Kathleen, and her brother Robert Derry. She will be missed by her friends, family and all who knew her. Cremation and internment services will be private. Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life on Saturday, May 28, 2016 from 2-4pm at the York Visitation Centre, 160 Beecroft Road, North York. If desired, a donation in lieu of flowers may be made in Marilyn's memory to the Toronto Humane Society or World Wildlife Fund Canada.

Our heartfelt wishes to you David and to Kathleen and Jennifer. Marilyn was such a dear person and friend to me and also to Tom. She was always interested in what we were up to and how we were doing. Our relationship started as a work thing but almost immediately Marilyn became my confidant and good friend.
I will miss our coffee get togethers, our painting Tuesdays, but most of all just picking up the phone and chatting.

I diddent know her but from what kathleen tells me she was an amazing mother i wish i could have met her and i wish the babbs family my deepest condolences
