This has come as such a shock as Sonny exemplified everything that life is about. His humour, adventurous spirit, honesty, and open heart are things that the world is in dire need of. So to know that he will no longer bring those things to everyone around him is unimaginable. My heart goes out to all of Sonny's family - particularly his dad, Ernie and his brother Billy. Those many years ago we did a lot of laughing together, and as it will be for so many others, Sonny's smile and laughter will be memories that I will hold most dear. May you find the ways to help hold him close moving forward.

A true mentor to the kids. A true friend to his fellow coaches. And had a true and genuine spirit about the game and the community. He will be truly missed by all.
