<div itemprop="description">We are profoundly saddened to tell you that our beloved Emily June passed away peacefully, at home, before midnight on Wednesday July 29th, 2015, at the age of 84. Her last days were spent resting comfortably surrounded by her family and loved ones. <br /> <br />June was the loving wife of nearly 63 years to Douglas, cherished mother of David and his wife Lynne of Innisfil, Glen and his wife Margaret of Wasaga Beach, Debbie and her husband Steve Ellis of Sauble Beach, and Wendy of Cambridge. <br /> <br />Dear grandmother to Lisa, Tracy and her husband Steve Cabral, Corey, Tyler, Becky and her husband Mike Laing, Chris and his wife Kristine, David and his wife Ashley, Andrew and Angela. Great-grandmother to 11 great-grandchildren. <br /> <br />Born the 2nd eldest of 11 children, June is predeceased by her parents Fred and Norma Winterburn of Norland Ontario and by her brothers Lloyd and his late wife Mary, Glenn, and her sister Edna Orford. June is survived by her brothers Carl and his wife Mona, Bill and his wife Ina, Jim and his wife Jean, Paul and his wife Gwen, and Colin and sisters Linda Riding and Sheila and her husband Chuck Winfield. <br /> <br />Dear sister-in-law to Ken Orford, the late Ted Riding, Irene and Nick Meisner, the late Georgina and late Nick Venier, Bill and Pat Griffin, and Margaret Griffin. <br /> <br />The family is eternally grateful for the tireless efforts of daughters Debbie and Wendy, sister-in-law Margaret, special friend Jo DeCarie, and the palliative care team led by Dr. Hamrahi for their compassionate care, companionship and spiritual guidance to make June&rsquo;s last days as comfortable and restful as possible. <br /> <br />In lieu of flowers, may we suggest that you consider a donation in June&rsquo;s name be made to: www.victoriasquiltscanada.com This is a wonderful organization that provides handmade quilts to people living with cancer in the hope that it will bring physical comfort as well as spiritual comfort in knowing that they are not alone in their struggle. <br /></div>
