Elsie Walker

March 9, 1938 - June 8, 2025

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Elsie Florence Walker on June 8, 2025. Elsie was predeceased by her husband of more than 50 years, Donald Walker in 2016.

Elsie had a long and beautiful life full of family, travel and accomplishments. Her love of reading, playing cards, Jeopardy and family brought her a great deal of happiness. She will be deeply missed and remembered as the matriarch of the family.

She leaves her children and their partners Susan & Ian, Danny & Sharon and Cindy & Graham. She was a proud grandmother to Bronwyn, Lauren, Alec, Hayden, Darcy and Julia. She loved being a great grandmother to Jack and Bowen

A celebration of Elsie’s life will be held at the Pine Hills Cemetery & Funeral Centre (625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough) on Monday, June 16 at 1 pm.
If so desired, and in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Scarborough General Hospital would be appreciated.
