In memory of

Elsie Verna Lowe (Meyer)

December 14, 1933 -  May 12, 2020

It is with great sadness that Elsie passed away on May 12th, 2020 at Seven Oaks Long Term Care.
Beloved wife of the late Arthur William Lowe.
Dear daughter of the late David Meyer and Velva Meyer (nee Hill)
Predeceased by her siblings; Florence (Art Manwaring), Robert Meyer (Sylvia), and Gertrude (Harry Selman).

Her health had been declining steadily for months and she contracted Covid-19 several weeks ago. She like many others at her residence, lost her battle. Under the circumstances the family could only speak with her on the telephone or see her on FaceTime periodically over the past few weeks.

She is at Peace now.

Greatly missed by her caring Family:
Children; David Lowe (Lynn), Susan Allen (the late Steven), and Terry Vollberg (Peter),
Grandchildren; Andrew (Nasim), Peter (Satoko), Kim, Victoria and Jeremy.
Great-grandchildren; Maya and Sakura.

A Memorial Service will take place in June, this site will be updated when arrangements have been finalized. She will be united with Art at Duffin Meadows Cemetery.

Due to the current circumstances, in lieu of Flowers, Donations to a charity of your choice dedicated in her name "Elsie Lowe" would be greatly appreciated by her family.

Though I had only seen her two or three times in the last thirty years, childhood memories are still strong. She was the beloved aunt who served me ice cream first at rutherfords Dairy on Kennedy road then st Clair ice cream parlor on the Danforth... fast forward about thirty years and she was the aunt who gave my children their first and most beloved pet, Emma are collie...the last time I saw her she was with both of her sisters celebrating Gertie and Harry’s 50th wedding anniversary. May she now be with them, her husband, her parents, and her brother, my father, at the right hand of God. Peace be with my cousins. We will all miss her
