In memory of

Elsa Celani

March 18, 1935 -  September 4, 2022

It is with great sadness that the family of Elsa Celani announce her passing on September 4th, 2022 at the age of 87 years.
Elsa will be lovingly remembered by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her husband Nello and two sons Marco and Maurizio Celani. She leaves behind a family in mourning; daughters, Luciana (Rocco) Elia, Roberta (Aldo) Bracaglia, Maria Assunta (Mario) Morgillo, son Angelo Celani and daughter in law Irene Celani.

Elsa was the most amazing grandmother and great grandmother to Vincenzo (Eleanora, Mia, MJ and Michaela) Morgillo, Stefano (Dianne) Catinella, Rita (Kennet, Cassidy and Kieran) Andersson, Grace (Christopher) Catinella, Elsa (Brandon, Erikka, Tristan and Darius) Morgillo, Domenic (Ana, Nicholas and Emma) Elia, Michael, Alec and Leah Celani.

We are all grieving her passing but we are left with the most amazing memories, she loved hearing the ice cream truck and getting ice cream for all her grandkids and herself letโ€™s not forgetโ€ฆ!!! Elsa took pride in going out with all her daughters galavanting to her favourite stores and restaurants.

In her final days, Elsa enjoyed going in her wheelchair onto the patio her son Maurizio had built for her before his passing. She also enjoyed singing to Italian music and dancing as much as she could but most of all she loved hearing jokes from her great grandson Darius.

Elsa lived a wonderful life and her final days were spent surrounded by her loving family.

We will love you forever Mamma aka Nonna Elsa.

Zia, you always had a smile on your face. I hope zio is making you laugh now that you are reunited. I am sure that you are already giving him that sideways look you always gave him when he talked too much. Rest in Peace Zia! Baci

Angelo,

Although I am a little late in writing, you have been on my mind. Our sincerest condolences to you and your family. The loss of a family member is never easy, especially the matriarch of your family. Hearing you speak of your mom before her passing and and at her visitation was heartwarming and gave a true representation of whom she was and who you are . She has left you all with memories and lessons to learn from. May you all find peace now that she is resting peacefully and free of all pain. She is now reunited with your father and brothers in eternal peace. Prayers of strength and healing to you all. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

Our prayers are with you.

Paola, Steve and Christina
