Dear Mum you went to the hospital many times only to bounce back very quickly, not this time, the doctor said your heart was very weak. You were ready to go. I am very glad that Ann and Geoffrey were able to spend some time with you. You were so happy to see your grandchildren especially the great grandchildren. You will be missed very much and will be forever in our hearts.
With love Linda xxoo
Dear Mum, as a mother of six children life would not have been easy for you but you took care of us well and provided for us to the best of your ability putting our needs before your own. I have many happy childhood memories and want to thank you for all that you did for me.
Although I have not lived in Canada since 1973 we have visited each other many times over the years, you returned to Belfast to be Jamie's Godmother, we caught up in England when Robert was ill, you cameto Australia for 3 months on holiday and we met in Canada several times. The last recent visit to see you was the most memorable but also the saddest. Your heart had weakened over the years and your recent illness had taken a great toll on your health. It was with great sadness that Linda, Geoff and I watched you pass peacefully away, but also with relief that you no longer suffered.
I will miss our regular phone calls and will look back with fond memories of the times we were together. Rest peacefully, love Ann, XX.
Hi Ma, you finally got your wish and looking back on that fateful day it was one of peace and comfort then suddenly it all came together, a parting goodbye, thankfully Ann, Linda and myself where there to comfort you and now your at peace with Dad, Robert and Kenny.

Dear mum,
I'm going to miss our visits at the nursing home, having tea and a raisin scone Verna you neighbor always joining us. Remembering back you and dad would go to the canadian legion almost every Saturday night you enjoyed the slush and the alley cat and especially at the end of the evening dancing to the last waltz. You loved Florida and Myrtle Beach and then you bought a lovely trailer at a park in Stoufville where you made a lot of new friends. You loved your grandchildren and great grandchildren
It was a sad day when you passed but thankfully Ann, Geoff and myself were with you. You will be forever in our hearts.
