In memory of

Elizabeth "Betty" Cardle

February 18, 1932 -  June 18, 2019

Heaven received another angel on Tuesday, June 18th, 2019. Peacefully with family by her side at Scarborough General Hospital in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late William Cardle (1993). Amazing mum to Heather (Paul) and Scot (Julee). Devoted Grandma/Grandma Boo to Ryan (Lisa), Shannon, Keon and Claire. Dear sister of Carol and pre-deceased by Eunice and William. Great Grand Grandma to the pets: Kiddo, Cheeto and Stella. Betty Boop (as we called her) was a 59 year resident in the family home with amazing neighbours (for the past 53 years) Rudi and Narney. The family is grateful for the kind and loving homecare Mum received by Tara and daughter-in-law Julee (who she told all of her secrets too). If I missed anyone, my apologies, I'm not good at writing these things. A celebration of life will take place (details below) followed by reception at Scot and Julee's place. Say hi to Dad and everyone Mum. We love you to infinity and beyond and will miss you dearly. In lieu of flowers (which everyone knows Betty loved) please donate to the charity of your choice.

I always fondly remember aunt Betty's great sense of humour, our family visits were always so much fun. She helped me a lot after my father got out of hospital the first time, driving me around to pickup supplies for him, she was so helpful ❤️ I will miss seeing weekly lunch photos of her on Facebook, she will be missed. I am unable to attend the funeral but I will be making a donation in her name to the Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary, one of my favourites in Muskoka.

Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time...
An angel touched her shoulder
Whispered softly in her ear,
Your time on earth is over
God beckons you near.
Do not cry my precious one
Do not hesitate
For you will see the risen son
At the pearly gate.

Heather, my deepest condolences to you and the family. Thank you for having shared your Mum with us on face book, I enjoyed each outing you two had together.
My heart aches for you but I know you're a strong woman and you'll get through this.
Love and hugs, Gloria
