Elizabeth Anne Cottrell

October 5, 1932 -  September 26, 2016

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Anne Cottrell (nee Burd), proud wife to predeceased husband, Robert (Bob) Allen, lovingly known to Elizabeth as Will. Elizabeth passed quietly in her sleep September 26th, 2016 at the age of 83.

Elizabeth, will be forever remembered by her children Cindi (Dave), Craig (Linda), Jamie (Lisa) and Jeff, and her grandchildren Brendan and Caileigh, Scott and Jesse, Cody and Nichole, Campion and Siobhan, and great granddaughter MacKenna.

Visitation is being held on Thursday, September 29th, at the Simple Alternative Funeral Centre from 12:00 PM -1:00 PM, followed by a service at 1:00 PM and a reception from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre is located at 1535 South Gateway Road, Mississauga, Ontario.

The family would like to send special thanks to the talented and compassionate nursing staff at the IOOF Seniors Home who assisted both Elizabeth and the family in the final stages of her life.
